Pennies for Patients has started!

Parent letters and collection boxes were sent home with your students on Monday. Our goal this year is to raise $2,700 to support The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. With your help and support we can make this year just as successful as last. What a great way to show and teach our children about giving to other children in need...especially sick children! The class with the most money raised will win a pasta party from Olive Garden and the class with the most purchased paper pennies will win an ice cream sundae party from me. Please call with any questions and let the competition begin!!!

Happy 2012 Sherwood Eagles!

Hope your 2012 is off to a great start.
Please check back soon for information about Pennies for Patients at Sherwood. Ms. Moreton, our fabulous school nurse and Jenny Martinez, our fabulous CIS project manager, will be heading up our Pennies for Patients campaign this year. As always, Pennies for Patients is all about helping children dealing with illness. Check back soon for more details.
I am busy as a bee working with 5th graders and their transition to middle school. Tomorrow, January 18th at 10:00 a.m., parents are welcome to attend a 5th grade parent meeting to learn all about the options for middle school. All parents all welcome to attend this meeting. If you have any questions about middle school, whether you are a 5th grade parent or not, please give me a call. There are lots of wonderful choices available for middle school in Spring Branch ISD.
Please come back to our blog soon!
